Where we have come from
Welcome to Giving Circles MENA! Since our inception in 2019, our mission has been to promote the work, thoughtful leadership and social impact journey of development funding agencies and implementing partners alike. We saw an incredible opportunity to unite individuals and organizations across sectors and countries who share our commitment to social impact. Time and again, we’ve witnessed the power of local ideas and collaboration in driving sustainable change more efficiently and effectively. While philanthropic funding has the potential to transform lives, we believe it must be paired with contextual understanding and trusted partnerships to avoid unintended harm and maximize its positive impact.
