Responsibilities
- Event Planning and Scheduling
- Define clear and measurable goals for each event aligned with the objectives and strategic plan of Giving Circles MENA initiative.
- Create and maintain a quarterly comprehensive calendar, with defined objectives per each event.
- Schedule internal check-ins and status updates at regular intervals to monitor progress.
- Promotion and Partnership Coordination
- Strategically promote the “Partner with Us in a Giving Circle” initiative through impactful messaging tailored to resonate with diverse stakeholders.
- Lead coordination efforts with partner organizations, fostering collaboration throughout the event lifecycle—pre-event planning, live facilitation, and post-event evaluation.
- Build trusted collaboration with partners to support seamless execution and amplify the collective impact.
- Develop the sales pipeline of potential Sponsors (Sponsor us). Proactively and consistently connect with Corporate Funders (CSR), international foundations, Arab Foundations and Philanthropic organizations among others.
- Facilitation Techniques for Engagement
- Use inclusive facilitation methods to encourage active participation and nurture a collaborative atmosphere.
- Create a framework for open dialogue and creative problem-solving that empowers all participants to contribute.
- Adapt techniques dynamically to address diverse participant needs and challenges.
- Attendee Management and Outreach
- Develop a systematic process for pre-qualifying and shortlisting attendees based on clear criteria in order to strengthen the co-creation and co-design of proposed projects.
- Communicate outcomes with selected attendees and confirm their participation.
- Follow up with non-selected participants thoughtfully to maintain positive relationships.
- Identify and flag potential sponsors and partners during attendee interactions for future collaboration opportunities.
- Solution Reporting and Sharing
- Prepare solution-oriented summary reports after each event, distilling co-created outcomes into accessible formats.
- Share drafts with partner organizations for their input and feedback before finalizing reports.
- Finalize the report and ensure its readiness for online publishing purposes
- Digital Marketing and Content Development
- Craft tailored email marketing campaigns and engaging social media content to promote events before, during, and after their occurrence.
- Develop messaging that inspires action while maintaining alignment with Giving Circles’ values, objectives and the benefits of its offerings and services.
- Leverage data analytics to refine campaign strategies and maximize outreach effectiveness.
Candidate Qualification, Experience and skills
- At least 3 years of experience in international development funded projects, philanthropic foundations, and/or non-profit organizations.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in development related fields such as international development, social sciences, economics and / or business administration.
- Experience facilitating and moderating online events—as a facilitator or moderator—particularly in noting and producing solutions from participants’ inputs. Excellent communication, facilitation and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups and manage group dynamics effectively.
- Fluency in English is required.
