Giving Circles - MENA

Collaborative Learning for Impact Philanthropy

Giving Circles - MENA is a social impact platform where philanthropic foundations and nonprofit organizations come together to make change. They pool their funds, time and knowledge to transfer locally–led ideas to reality.

We connect philanthropists, traditional and emerging philanthropic organizations, with qualified local and regional nonprofit organizations who are closest to the issues and who know where and how to find the most vulnerable quickly.

Giving Circles enable philanthropists to invest in context-aware and locally-led responses.

Whether it is getting life-saving medicine to conflicted areas or supporting women in political leadership, Giving Circles Users come together to learn, inspire, connect and act together to address the problems inherent to targeted communities and societies across the countries of the Middle East and north Africa’s region.

Theory of Change

For Philanthropists

If philanthropic organizations engage with locally vetted nonprofit organizations, fostering a collaborative learning environment characterized by peer learning, shared understanding of local realities, and pooled resources, then pressing social and economic issues can be addressed more rapidly, effectively, and sustainably in pursuit of systems change.
